Scheeprin 80mg Enteric-coated Tablet is branded generic Aspirin or Acetylsalicylic acid. It is used to treat pain and reduce fever and inflammation in the body. It is sometimes indicated to manage or prevent heart attacks, strokes, and chest discomfort (angina). Aspirin helps reduce the risk and avoid heart attacks and strokes in patients who previously had these conditions in high-risk individuals.

Treatment of a wide range of mild - to - moderate pain conditions, including menstrual cramps, headaches, and toothaches, among others. In the case of a fever, aspirin works well. 
It can be used to ease the symptoms of colds and the flu. As a result of its anti-inflammatory properties, it is effective in the treatment of arthritis. Aspirin is believed to be beneficial in the treatment of certain types of cardiovascular disease.
Aspirin can cause headaches, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, ringing in the ears, rash, and indigestion.
Other significant side effects include: Kidney failure due to chronic use Liver failure, Ulcers, and Prolonged bleeding after injury or surgery.
If any of the following side effects occur, the patients should seek emergency medical attention: rashes with skin peeling or blisters/rashes, blistering of the lips, mouth, or eyes accompanied by fever pass out bloody stools or black as tar or vomiting as ground coffee.

Aspirin (Scheeprin) 80mg Enteric-coated Tablet may aggravate asthma symptoms: Aspirin (Scheeprin) 80mg Enteric-coated Tablet can increase blood uric acid levels and is contraindicated in patients with hyperuricemia or gout.
If blood sugar levels are not monitored closely, Aspirin (Scheeprin) 80mg Enteric-coated Tablet can increase the effect of medications used to treat diabetes mellitus, resulting in abnormally low blood sugars.
NSAIDs such as aspirin have been shown to decrease the antihypertensive effect or the blood pressure-lowering of ACE inhibitors (Enalapril, Lisinopril, Perindopril).
Inform your doctor if you are currently taking any of these medications before beginning to take aspirin-containing medications to treat high blood pressure, such as furosemide or ramipril.
