BotiCARD Inc. was conceptualized in February 2011 as an offshoot from the Microfinance and Health Protection (MaHP) Program of CARD MRI. This is the result of finding the best strategy to provide affordable, safe and quality medicines for CARD clients and staff. It was formally registered to the Securities and Exchange Commission on May 11, 2011. The first branch was opened in Sampaloc, Manila on July 18, 2011 and the second branch in San Pablo, Laguna on October 10, 2011 and opened more branches. 

To date BotiCARD Inc. has twelve branches serving the communities where CARD MRI operates.
